Spark Hackathon

A Hackathon is a design sprint-like event in which particpants will be given a certain amount of time to design and create a product depending on the objective of the event. This event is usually a 24-hour time limited challenge in which participants are expected to collaborate with their peers to create usable software or hardware by the end of the event. 

 

Hackathons tend to have a specific focus, which can include the programming language used, the operating system, an application, an API, or the subject and the demographic group of the programmers.

The theme of our event is TBA. Last year's theme was Space Exploration, and the hackathon was hosted December 14-15 at McMaster Innovation Park.
